The client, a UK division of a renowned global professional services provider, offers a wide range of solutions to both businesses and consumers. As they set their sights on launching new projects, the client had identified critical people and skills gaps across multiple teams. A number of Associate Consultants were needed with different technical expertise, with the client wanting to promote inclusion and diversity.

Situation

The client, a leading global consultancy, was eager to kick-start several high-priority projects aimed at supporting their ambitious growth plans. However, they faced significant challenges due to a lack of people skilled in the technology and tools needed to drive these initiatives.

Being able to hire the right people across multiple teams and locations with a variety of different technical skills was crucial for the success of their selected projects.

The challenge was twofold—sourcing candidates with the required technical aptitude and ensuring the team embodied the company’s focus on continuous innovation and diverse tech talent.

Over 18 months, Corecom Tech Academy delivered six academies across multiple technical areas and locations. Associates were recruited through our customised process, designed to identify high-potential candidates, and were provided with a comprehensive training programme to equip them with the relevant skills and technologies. This intensive training covered key areas such as Software Development, Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Agile Project Management, ensuring the Associate Consultants were ready to take on their roles with confidence.

After a successful training programme, Associate Consultants were deployed directly with the client, and ready to contribute to project success from day one.
